The Development of Autonomic Response Testing (A.R.T.™)

Autonomic Response Testing (A.R.T.™) was developed by Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, standing on the shoulders of numerous mentors, teachers, doctors, scientists and physicists.

The roots of A.R.T. reach far back to Willhelm Reich MD, Dr. Reinhold Voll and more recently to Dr.Y.Omura, Dr.Goodheart, Drs Nogier and Bahr, Dr. F.A.Popp, Dr.R Callahan, Prof.G Pollack and many others.

A.R.T.™ identifies the state of health of the autonomic nervous system and the coherence of the biophoton field, a method that extends beyond the limits of the normal medical information-gathering using the physical exam, lab work or imaging techniques. A.R.T. is a magical extension of the physical exam.

A.R.T. systematically explores, evaluates and challenges the 7 most common stressors or “factors” of our current life that prevent our natural ability to stay healthy or heal from illness.

The method has led practitioners to better results achieved with less. It is increasingly finding acceptance in both conventional as well as alternative circles as the results have contributed to the healing and wellness of many.

The Philosophical Foundation

There is more to us than what we see. We co-exist on several “levels” of reality. Wellness is the combined perception of health on each level. Illness is the result of depleting or destructive forces that have penetrated our shield and entered our “biofield”. This might happen on each of the levels. Symptoms are the expression of these forces in the physical world. They are often a hidden metaphor for the cause, but not the cause itself.

A Diagnostic Tool that Finds the Most Gentle Health Solutions

A.R.T.™ is the diagnostic technique that allows us to detect the true causes of illness and their entry points into our system.

A.R.T. enables the practitioner to establish a cause-related treatment protocol that is in harmony with our physical and spiritual nature. It directs the practitioner to find the most effective and yet gentle biological solution for the resolution of the symptoms or the set of issues arising from these underlying causes.

Surrogate Testing

In this technique, errors in assessment are prevented by a method called surrogate testing, where there is an assistant between the tester and the practitioner, whose muscle strength is used to test the subject. This is based on the principle that the issues of the subject do not manifest in the practitioner’s body or vice versa. Therefore, surrogate testing makes the testing much more reliable.

Bioresonance and ART

ART utilizes physiological resistance known as bioresonance.

Resonance Physics: Just as an opera singer can break a glass by singing at its resonant frequency, substances within the body resonate with similar frequencies. For example, when the “A” string of one guitar is played, the “A” string of another guitar will also begin to vibrate.

Bioresonance in Living Beings

Whatever substance is found in the subject’s body, bringing the same substance close to the body causes a resonance effect. The substance outside the body resonates with the same substance inside the body, increasing its vibration. This causes a sympathetic stress response, which in turn alters the muscle strength of the assistant. In this way, the practitioner can test, among other things, the levels of various heavy metals in the body.

Using these principles, ART helps to identify and treat conditions that may not be easily diagnosed by traditional methods.

The ART method was developed by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., PhD, together with  Willhelm Reich MD, Dr. Reinhold Voll and more recently to Dr.Y.Omura, Dr.Goodheart, Drs Nogier and Bahr, Dr. F.A.Popp, Dr.R Callahan, Prof.G Pollack and many others.

Assessment of the Autonomic Nervous System

Autonomic Response Testing (ART) is an effective method for assessing how the autonomic nervous system (ANS) responds to various stressors.

The autonomic nervous system (ANS) operates automatically without conscious thought and is responsible for vital functions such as heart rate, blood pressure, detoxification from the body, digestion, and brain function.

Many stressors, both internal and external, can disrupt the functioning of the autonomic nervous system.

ART helps identify which specific stressors affect the functioning of the ANS. These may include:

  • Infections: bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi
  • Environmental toxins
  • Allergies
  • Hormonal disorders
  • Neurotransmitter disorders
  • Scars
  • Dental problems
